Proportional Drive Controls

Switch It proportional drive controls give the driver the ability to operate their wheelchair with 360 degrees of control as well as the full range of the wheelchair’s drive parameters (speed, acceleration, etc.). Like our switched drive controls, they work in a plug and play fashion. (MicroPilot & select mounting options shown)

Switched Drive Controls

Every Switch It switched drive control can work with every major manufacturer’s wheelchair electronics, including Permobil and Sunrise’s R-Net, Quantum’s Q-Logic, Invacare’s Mark VI and earlier versions, as well as earlier Penny & Giles versions. (ALS Head Array Package shown)

Touch Drive 2

The TouchDrive 2 (TD2) goes beyond what the original Switch It Touch Drive did both in functionality and configurability. The TD2 utilizes proven cellphone touchscreen technology for ultra-sensitive & precise driving capabilites. It also can be configured to work in a simple touch (Absolute Mode) or drag (Relative Mode) manner, depending on the client’s usage needs & desires.

Switch It Head Arrays

Our head arrays have the versatility to utilize 3, 4 or 5 proximity switches, with the option to embed the sensors in in the standard head pads. optional offset facial pads, or freestanding for custom placement to give the client the most freedom and the best access to the switches they need.

DriveStation

This allows a user that is familiar with the exact feel and movement of a standard game controller to operate their powerchair. We can customize the various buttons for specific functions upon the client’s needs/request.

Multi-Function Switches

There is sometimes a need for switches that have multiple functions. These switches usually require being tied into the wheelchair’s electronics as opposed to simple plug and play fashion. Here are a few examples of some of the multiple function switches we provide:
